Class is winding down!

For Graphic Design, the last project is the book cover... the instructions are in the syllabus and a video on how to do the project is there too...

Graphic Design Projects:

-2 letter composition filling a square and using layer blends to create transparency.

-4 block Stamp project.... clean uniform template, strong, legible type.  Unified photographs (images)

-Poster project: Reproduce 2 or more Swiss inspired posters at high resolution (Swissted is a good example)

-Poster project: Design your own poster for a real event in the Swiss style.  Real event should call attendees to a specific event, time and place and the design should be relevant to the event.

-Jewel case (CD) project... 2 parts, Front of CD with fold, back of CD.  Must meet size specifications.

-Book cover design: redesign an existing book

Photography: The 5 projects were

-Composition... the built environment.

-Water, reflections nature

-Light and Shadow

-Macro... getting in very close with an eye to composition and light

-Window light portrait.


Last week: Shoot more of your favorite topic and post 6-10 more images.

6-10 of your best edited pieces for each assignment is a minimum...
