Alfred Sieglitz and Georgia O'Keefe.
Theses letters that were written between the two over the years has built there relationship of admiration and love. Sieglitz realized how much light Georgia had in her and that he would just dim it with his situation of living in a house full of his relatives. It also seems as he had other darkness in him. When she left for New Mexico, she saw beauty, light and life and did not want to return back to darkness although her husband was back there. I believe that the love they had for each other was pure appreciation of each others creativity.
Nice attention to the subtle aspects of her emotional needs.
